About Cathy

In 2007 I joined the Chichester Camera Club with Tony, but for about the first 18 months I only went to keep him company. Then bang, I was successful in obtaining my Licentiate with the Royal Photographic Society using a Canon G9 and really haven’t looked back since. Summer of 2009 I became the proud owner of an Olympus E520. Liking the Olympus system I then decided to treat myself to the Olympus flagship camera - the E5 - I love it. However, I have just taken delivery of the Olympus OMD E1 camera and lenses - watch this space.
In 2010, unfortunately, unlike Tony, I was not successful with my ARPS. However I achieved a CPAGB in 2013, then early 2014 I was awarded an Associateship by the Royal Photographic Society. The images can be seen in one of my Galleries.

The thing I like about photography as a hobby is that anywhere you go you can take photographs, then when you are in the comfort of your own home you can manipulate and adjust to arrive at the desired image.
